Pick a Number
This is a Mathematical Magic Trick. Please follow the directions carefully! If you do, you will be amazed.
Don't look ahead; just follow the steps slowly as given.
DO NOT SKIP AHEAD! Read the directions ONE LINE AT A TIME; just do what they say, and you'll be glad that you did.
1) Pick a number from 1 to 10.
2) If greater than 5, subtract 5.
3) Then multiply by 3.
4) Now square the number. (This means multiplying the number by itself; it is NOT the square root!)
5) Then add the digits together until you get only one digit. (For example, 64 = 6 + 4 = 10, then 10 = 1 + 0 = 1)
6) Now subtract 4.
7) Then multiply by 2.
8) Now subtract 6.
9) Then map the number to the corresponding letter of the alphabet. (For example, 1 = A, 2 = B, 3= C, etc.)
10) Pick a country beginning with that letter.
11) Take the second letter in the country name and think of a mammal that begins with that letter. (If the country name you were thinking of is more than one word long, use the last word of the name.)
12) Think of the color of that mammal.
